A rare coincidence of political foundings was seen today when after 26 years, Mayawati and Mulayam Singh appeared together on the same platform. The place was Mainpuri which is the stronghold of Mulayam Singh Yadav and Mayawati reached Mainpuri for her campaign. Both of them complimented one another. For the first time after SP-BSP coalition in UP, when Mulayam and Mayawati were present on one stage together. Obviously this was a good coincidence for the SP-BSP supporters, but for BJP, this picture could prove to be a concern.
After the alliance of SP-BSP in UP, many political pundits are trying to figure out how much profit would be to the BJP due to the coming of the coalition. Seeing the caste equation, the BJP seems to be suffering from the Maha coalition but if BJP gets some 40 seats in UP then it will not be less than the victory for it.the SP-BSP vote bank will be against BJP when coming with the SP-BSP but Yadav's anger against Mayawati can damage the alliance. Apart from this, after being separated from the Congress coalition, the Muslim is in a state of dilemma who can vote. Talking about the OBC vote, OBC votebank seems to be moving towards BJP while the upper cast is considered to be the most popular vote bank of the BJP.
Some people are also saying that if the Congress was involved in the Maha coalition, then maybe it would be easier for the BJP to settle in UP. The way the Congress left the seat for the Mulayam family and the Mulayam family left the seat for the Gandhi family, it is clear that the possibility of forming a government after the elections becomes possible, then the BSP-SP and Congress will not even spend a minute to come together.
